I night weaned at 9 months. He was still waking twice for a feed. From memory it took a few rough nights of general settling techniques and then he was okay with it all.

Funny thing is he still WOKE up after that for many months. Not for a feed, it was just something he did. Just a little settling each time. So annoying hahaha.

    Default Night weaning??

I managed to get DS to drop 1 overnight feed at 7 months, then reverted back to 2 overnight feeds due to teething and colds.... Now at 10&1/2 months I am attempting to do a complete night wean. Started by working on dropping the 4am feed first, tonight will attempt to also drop the 11pm one......

I should add that we only had success in dropping that 4am feed when I stopped doing the settling and DH did it on his own. As soon as I enter the room DS expects and then demands milk....

We used Jay Gordons night weaning techniques at around 10 months to reduce the number of feeds to 1. You can google the info.
