Default How long is your work day?

I'm paid for 6 hours... But in reality, I work closer to 9!

I work 8-4 and half hour lunch so 7.5 hour days, in reality it's rarely less than 8 hour days which I get a flexi for!

I temp - works well for me because I can get a lot more flexibility that way, and I can do short-term roles and then have a break between temp tokes. Good hrly rate and there's always work in my line of work. Biggest problem is getting something close to home as I have to travel into the city. At the mo I'm just doing 2 7-hour days a week. Simply because it's 4 hours per day commute!

I work full time from 7:30 to 4pm. I leave home by 5:50 in the morning and get home at about 5:40 at night. It's rubbish and I hate it! I have to wake my son up some mornings, and at night he goes to bed at 7pm.. So I get to spend about two hours with him on work days
I do enjoy my little bit of 'freedom' (the time I spend at work) interacting with other adults though, but I would much rather be spending time with my son. If only money grew on trees!!

I'm supposed to work minimum 37.5 hours a week over 5 days. I negotiated with my boss to work 6 hours on Wednesdays so I can pick dd up from school and take her to swimming lessons. I make up for those hours (and usually more) on the other days.

    I work 12.5 hours shifts. 7am-730pm.

Travel time makes it 14 hour days. Im
full time (40 hours a week) I enjoy them as it means I get more days off rather than working 5-8days in a row of 8 hour shifts.
