Default Best shoes for a 3 year old?

My 3 year old DS wears Beako shoes, they are gorgeous and wear really well. They make really nice closed toe sandals, for daycare. He also has a good pair of Nike runners.

We have always got DS fitted at Ollie Ashenden in Adelaide. Most of the time he wears Clarks but twice I have got him some stride rite 'vroomz' they light up and look like a car. He has about 4 pairs of shoes a year plus crocs - sneakers all year round, sandals for summer and nice closed in leather shoes for winter. He also has crocs for occassional wear and I have jsut bought him some cheap thongs for our next holiday but I am not sure he will wear them.

It is pretty expensive but feet are so important and fixing foot problems would be more expensive

I always get my kids a good pair of sneakers (the older they get the tougher they are so tend to get a court shoe over a runner / trainer) -mostly Nike or Adidas

They also then get a pair of casual shoes - converse, vans etc

I think your better to pay more $ and get a shoe that is going to last as opposed to a pair from Target, Kmart etc - helps to go somewhere that offers proper fitting too.

I've only bought DS2 2 pairs of shoes, the rest have been handed down from DS1 in near perfect condition - they are the same size foot now so my nephews reap the benefits now haha!

My girls have nikes, Adidas and DC's.. I'm happy to spend a bit of money on shoes as they are great quality and last. I still have runners that have been through the first 3 girls that bub will wear and are still in excellent condition..

Thanks everyone am going to check out some of the brands you have mentioned such as pablosky, skeanie, saltwater.
We have no shoe shop where we live so it makes it abit hard..I can take him into our local Target store & get his sizing and then order online.
He would live in thongs if he could..but will also look into maybe a little pair of nike/adidas runners.
Has anyone heard of Ginoble shoes? Apparently made by a podiatrist?
I really want to look after his feet
