I thought it was gona be a bit scarey...slums of England with newborns but i was plesantly suprised. It was amazing to see how pregnancy and babies was back then...or get an idea ayway. When the lady was inlabour and thay said 'right, well get the nurse to shave you and give u an enaema' i was like...THANK GOD THEY DONT DO THAT NOW!!! . And when that prem baby started crying...Well I WAS CRYINZG TOO

I really enjoyed it, very eye opening.
I loved the part where she finds out the woman has 24 children and says 'but you hardly have any stretchmarks??' because it was exactly what i was thinking

I was lolling at all the babies being left in prams, if I left dd in a pram like that she would try to climb out! I cringed at a few points too.

Yeah i alwaya hate seeing babies alone in a pram. Especially those old fashion ones. I think...my god, no saftey harnesses or anything. Ahh, how times ahve changed
