Default 1yo Poo. Is kiwi fruit the culprit?

DDs poo used to be pretty well formed and would roll off the nappy or easy kind of peel off. She's also pretty regular and predictable.

Lately her poo is heaps softer, not runny like with a tummy bug but really pasty. It's no fun in MCNs!

Is this still considered normal poo? She recently started eating kiwi fruit most days (she loves it!), can that make her poo softer?

Ok I might stop giving it to her and see if her poo goes back to normal.

Haha I hope it doesn't have that effect on your DD! You'll certainly see those seeds though.

My sister is a physio and apparently they are told to recommend kiwi fruit for constipation.

Yup! When DD was constipated, the paed here recommended prune juice, which I guess is the norm.. But when I went to NZ (hubby is kiwi) over there kiwi fruit is the norm for constipation! They have it in a concentrated purée and in powder form too, I tried mixing it in with DD's yoghurt and it really helped!
