Default Teething (vomiting and diarrhoea like nappies)

So as the title suggests, DD2 (12 months) is cutting her first and second teeth, bottom two...

Her nappies have been disgusting, so smelly but not quite diarrhoea consistency. She's had 4 dirty nappies today, and her bottom is red raw... And she vomited this morning, a lot! She had 2 baths before midday, poor little thing. We cleaned her all up, got her warm and she fell asleep, has been asleep for 3 hours and is stirring now.

Now obviously she may have a bug, but my question is has any one else's LO been a spewy/pooey teether?

    Thanks.

I think it sounds more like a bug. My clinic nurse said teething itself doesn't really cause these things, it's just that when they teethe they put their fingers/toys/whatever they get their hands on in their mouths a lot more, so they're more likely to get sick.

Your poor DD, we had a trifecta from hell recently - gastro, teething and a head cold. It's a nightmare!

Thanks! Oh yuck, you poor things... Glad you are all better now! She's up and crawling around now, she hasn't eaten anything since brekky, so going to give her some dry toast, she's kept 60ml of water down (and in, LOL)... She'll be starving, loves her food, but will go slow!
