    Default rash??

    hi everyone pasty 24 hours ds has been getting this weird rash .... the pic i took isnt a good one its hard to get a good pic..... anyway it appears anywhere...then gets worse after about half an hour it goes away but it just keeps popping up all over him.. some are the size of a 5c coin and some patches are the size of half his face.. it looks like a burn as it gets worse like little blisters...


    is it heat rash???

    he does have a cough .....

    They look look a bit like flea bites to me. But if they look a bit like blisters and had cold like symptoms, fever etc get him checked just in case. I heard hand foot and mouth can appear like this. Don't quote me though. But by the pic it really does look like bites of some kind to me

    I thought it was bites when i first saw it. . We have no pets. ... Would flea bites get really blistered incredibly quickly the disappear in a few minutes?? Ive never seen flea bites...

    not really unless they were being rubbed really hard for a while. At first glance that's what it looks like but as you said it's not a clear pic. From my understanding the other thing I mentioned can do that. But I haven't had first hand experience with it.

    Looks like hives. He must be having an allergic reaction to something. They can become hypersensitive to things when they are sick. Two of my kids got hives to eggs but only when they had a cold at the same time. Strange.
    Some oral antihistamine like kids Zyrtec will work well

    Looks like the rash DD got last week. The GP said it was related to her throat infection, so I'd say it's the same case for you.

    We have bad sand flies (midges) here and I get little blisters on the bite site. Like a mozzie bite only bigger with a blister. They can itch sometimes too.
