    Yes I had to fast, get a blood test, then drink a green glucose drink and get tested at 1 hour then at 2 hours.

    I hate metformin only good thing is the weight loss. 8.3kgs so far and on 1000mgs a day.. Appetite has gone too

    Metformin is horrible on the back side and the gas is so horrendous that you'll never fall pregnant cause DH could never BD again lol

    I hate M because it causes such stomach/bowel issues I'm still on it atm but not the max dosage. I've been on it for 2 months now.

    Maybe different for everyone and respond in different ways but give it a go and see what's right for you

    To those on metformin have u told ur docs about side affects? I had diarrhea too...switched to diabex xr and all good. I'm on 1500mg per day. I take it right before bed too

    So upset.. Just got my blood tests back and doctors suggestion to fall pregnant was to go on the pill! Apparently that would normalise everything for me. And he is also telling me everything is normal and I don't have pcos. Fsh was 8 lh12 and orstradiol 174. No idea what that means. Feeling upset and unsupported.

    I asked him for a gyno referral. I have to send it off myself. I've been trying to look up those levels. They were taken at cd14, day after ff thinks I ovulated. I have no idea what's normal or not.
