Default TTC No 1 with PCOS chat #5

I'm doing a very cautious happy dance as I think AF is coming!!
I believe, but not sure, that I might be spotting...

Could such a low dose of metformin have results?

I'm only on 250mg a day at the moment, and only for a week!

Hi everyoneI'm new to this forum....I have read stories from other ladies here going through the same thing and they are very inspiring. I'm 28 yrs old and been ttc for over a year now, I was diagnosed with Pcos over 5 yrs ago and was never really worried until now. My gyno/obs started me on Metformin and primolut on 12/2/13 and today I got my AF, I hadn't had a period in so long over a year I kinda forgot what it felt like!
I hope to keep everyone updated on my progress and soon be preggers!

Thanks FP. I am 163cm and 83kg at the start of the pregnancy, so we are very similar. Hopefully you can manage the GD diet and get it all under control. thinking of you anyway

    hi ladies....
Quick question - for those taking Clomid to O; what was your AF like??

I'm about to start my 4th Clomid cycle.
AF after cycle 1 was what I considered normal at about 4ish days plus a little spotting after. Cycle 2 was 2.5 days of being barely there. I'm on CD2 today after 3rd cycle and AF has already reduced to being pink streaked CM only.

I'm assuming the super light AF's have something to do with maybe a thin lining? So if I have a thin lining - my chances of implantation are greatly reduced???
My GP was no help today and can't see FS until end of March. I just want to know if this kind of AF is normal and if anyone still got their BFP.

They do sound very light. I think mine were about 4 days max though.

Definitely lighter than normal. Not sure if it was a side effect of the clomid though as I was only on 25mg.

Mine only worked once on clomid and was 7 days and very heavy at the start. Fx clomid works for you

I went to my gyno/obs today and I am starting clomid....I'm excited, scared, nervous...everything is going pretty fast. Got body temp chart, which I have never done...so much happening, hoping I don't get any side effect from clomid
