It's funny you know, but I was too 'busy' to go to the doctor to get this sorted. Definitely over it lol

After some wonderful advice from the ladies on this thread I went ahead with all my tests for PCOS nervously awaiting the results. I was diagnosed in my teens and never fully comprehended the seriousness of having pcos that until we started our TTC journey.

I got my results back from the GP today and I couldn't be happier. Having spent the last 10years thinking having children would be all but impossible and treating my DS as a total miracle baby.. (which he still is seeing as i was on BC also) According to my bloods and scans from last week I either no longer have or was mis-diagnosed with PCOS.
    Woohoo.!!!!!

Im so relieved not only from a fertility perspective but for my general health.

Whilst I do have some cysts on my ovaries this itself is not enough to conclusive say I have PCOS. Some cysts are actually common among many women apparently. My hormone levels are near perfect and my bloods reflect perfectly my CD at the time of the test too.

It feels like a massive weight has been lifted and we can hopefully go ahead with our TTC journey with no big hurdles to jump. And hopefully saving a lot on FS too.

I sincerely hope I don't upset any of you by being so excited with my news. Having gone through the full range of emotions surrounding TTC and 'why won't my body do what it's supposed to' I truly feel for anyone who wants to have a baby and for whatever reason just cannot seem to get there. It is such an intense journey and I know we still have a long way to go yet. This just feels like a good push in the right direction for us.

I hope to see you all in the testing threads and wish u all tonnes of babydust. Thankyou for all your kind words and supportive knowledge too!
    xx

Needing some help from those who are or have taken clomid

I am on my first round of clomid (one 50mg tablet a day from CD3 to CD9) finished last tablet today (CD 9).

Is it normal to get itchy and dry down there when takingclomid I have never had this feeling before and I havnt changed anything else that I can think of that could cause the dryness and itchiness???

My Gyno / Fertility Specialist is amazing and he is comming in on his day off on Sunday to do my CD13 internal ultrasound to see if the clomid is working its wonders...... I hope so I have been trying for so long to fall preggas that I am starting to feel like its a loosing battle......

Hi kjs, I've definitely heard if clomid causing dryness but not sure about itchiness. Good luck for your scan!

AFM, first signs of af have arrived this morning so I'm out again. I'm just waiting to talk to my FS today to see what happens next. Fx 2013 is the year for all if us.

It's a boy!!!! Woot woot!!! He's looking absolutely perfect as well :-)

KJS- I took clomid and I did find that I got a bit drier down there. I took fertileCM for a couple of months before I conceived as well as taking clomid and that seemed to balance it out.
