I'm in the waiting phase atm. I did my first round of clomid this month and ended up having to take it for ten days because nothing was happening after five. But luckily I got one good follicle at the end of it and had an ovidrel injection on Tuesday to release it - so it's been a busy few days for DH and I! Now we've got our fingers crossed and waiting until Monday week when the ovidrel is out of my system and I can do the hpt. Fingers crossed for everyone!

    Hey girls
I'm new to this and in the process of TTC with my man.
I ovulated on the 1st November and we have been having sex twice a day on my fertile days. Having now trying for baby #1 I am new to working out the timing and ways around improving my chances of conceiving, so any help would be appreciated.

-My next O is on the 29th November, but I've also got PCOS so I take it I should be trying daily as well?

    Goodluck to everyone!

The toughest part of PCOS when TTC is the ovulation, are you taking temps daily? This is probably the best 'at-home' measure of determining ovulation.
There is one lady here, who did the BD for 6 consecutive nights before ovulation and is now UTD.

I haven't been taking my temps, no.
Sorry I'm very new to this so how does that exactly work?
We have been having sex daily and doing the whole pillow under your bum, raised pelvis and legs in the air afterwards thing too.
Thankyou for the positive side, there is hope

You take your basal temperature first thing in the morning, before bathroom, before even setting foot on the ground, and you record it. Most of us use fertility friend. If you ovulate you will notice a very distinct rise in temps and it will stay that way during your luteal phase. Now if you succeed in falling pregnant, your temp will stay up. If unsuccessful, your temp will drop back down to what it was to start with
    Hope this helps

Oh wow! It gets this technical, haha.
I honestly wish I could just click my fingers and it happen. I can't imagine how emotionally draining it would be for those of you who have been trying for so long
Thankyou so much for that advice though.
