No reason to give up coffee, no.
The alcohol is a "very occasional" treat, best avoided in first trimester. But yes, hard to do!!

You can get EWCM for up to a week prior to ovulation. Quite normal, and good time to be having sex.

I would go back to your GP and organise for a bhCG today, then another Saturday morning. The test certainly looks positive, but bleeding in early pregnancy should always be investigated by serial bhCG levels. If they double every 24-36 hours, then the pregnancy is usually viable. Anyway, that is the general medical advice given in your situation.
From a personal view-point, best of luck!!

Good, I am glad. Sensible plan.
Today's bhCG wont tell you much (you are clearly pregnant, from the FRER), however the repeat bhCG tomorrow or Saturday will give a much more definitive picture of what is going on.
Bleeding in early pregnancy is not uncommon, but as I said, should always be investigated.
You are doing the right thing, and I hope everything is OK.

Good luck Channy super exciting!! Hopefully we get 3 positives in a week! Whoop whoop!

J a question again, with dd I didn't go to the doc or have anything else until I was 8 weeks, is it necessary to go earlier? I wasn't planning on it....

Not necessary to see your OBGYN just yet, unless you have pain or bleeding. However, I would recommend organising your referral to the OBGYN, just to firm up your first visit. They usually like to see you at the 10-week mark.
You are taking folic acid, yes?
