So sorry for everyone who is having a rough time right now. JA, I hope you and your partner can sort things out. And I hope that all the people POAS are just too early or have dud HPTs.

I guess the "good" thing about my cycle this time around is that I am 100% expecting AF to arrive in two weeks. I have absolutely no reason to consider otherwise, and this brings quite a bit of peace. I am still just so happy that the lab actually found one single sperm and that it actually fertilised.. they called it an "overnight miracle", lol. So to expect it to continue to develop and actually implant, well, that is in a word unrealistic.

Just looking forward to getting this cycle over with so we can start making plans with a new Brissy-based clinic. Unfortunately I don't see us cycling again before the new year though, as we will have to go through all the formalities of starting at a new clinic (initial appointments, screening tests, maybe info/counselling sessions?). Plus don't know how much money we'll have after this rebate comes through.

Yep, I will probably go with Dr GS at Life, as the embryologist at my Perth clinic used to work with the head of the lab at Life (Liz?) in Ireland apparently, and she said that she is brilliant. Plus from what I read on the clinic's website Glenn specialises in MFI, so that would have to be beneficial to us. Just hope that the costs really do compare to what we paid in Perth.

P.s. I think if you need another cycle you'll be very happy with him, and all of the scientists there are wonderful!

    Hello all

Sorry - I feel like I'm not always keeping up to date with the thread. It moves very fast and I'm not on here every day, but I do try to read along and stay current.

Mam - so sorry to see your cycle got cancelled. I know you were prepared for the possibility, but it doesn't make it any easier.

It seems as if a few people are having a difficult time at the moment. Hope that for those who are still waiting the 2 weeks goes fast!

I have an appointment tomorrow for another scan, and all being well will do ET later in the week.
