Default When to change to faster flow nipple?

    Hi girls

I was wondering when everyone changed from the slow teet to the medium level 2 teet? How did you know bub was ready to change?

Hannah is 7 weeks and on the level 1 nipple but she seems to tire before shes finished. I wonder if changing to a level 2 would help even though theyre suggested for 3+ months.

I think the guide is generally good, but if she is getting tired with all the sucking, try to go to the next one if it's to fast for her and she keeps chocking, just switch back to slow flow.
You've also got the teats that have a cross on the top a kind of "at their own pace" type.

The varied flow is great in theory but in Tommy Tippee which I use, the teat itself is bigger and too big for bub

If the current one is too slow but the next one is too fast, keep the current teet but loosen the ring and that will make it a bit faster.

My DD is 6 months old and I think she gets frustrated with the 3 month teet but she has reflux so the next one is too fast for her, so the ring makes all the difference.

DS is 11 weeks and has been on the number 2 teats for at least 4 weeks. We tried them a week or so before that but he coughed and spluttered so clearly wasn't ready. When we tried again he was! Which was lucky as he usually only takes 20 mins to finish a bottle now...
