Default Re: This dress (colour) ok for wedding?

Someone wore a similar cream tunic to our wedding and I thought she looked stunning! I never had an issue but I had a light pink dress so that could be why

It's totally fine. It's clearly not a wedding or bridesmaid dress, so why the big deal?!? I would funk it up with yellow accessories.

What type of dress is the bride wearing? If she's wearing some long flowing obviously-a-bride type of thing, then I don't think it will be an issue. If she's wearing something more casual and especially something shorter in length, I'd avoid it.

I've been to Many many weddings and would never wear white/cream. So many other choices so I wouldn't want to wear the one shade that is reserved for the bride. Also been to weddings where a guest has wore cream, heard many whispered comments from the other guests so personally I would want to avoid that.

Maybe instead of black accessories you use pastel colours instead? Pastel is very spring and would look great with that colour. Or turquoise. Ppl will notice the brighter colours than the dress

I would never wear any colour that would be close to the bridal gown.
So no.. Regardless of accessories I wouldn't wear it.
Sorry!! But it's a pretty dress.

Hey, Pippa Middleton wore white to the royal wedding! I think that a bride worrying about her guests clothing colour clashing or taking away attention is passe. Unless it's a bridesmaid dress- in that case you'd want a different colour to the bridal gown.
Other than that, I think it's OK.
I think it's a lovely dress and besides, you're going to be wearing some black and gold to break it up anyway.

I agree with those that said the dress is nice but not the colour to wear to a wedding. Is it for a wedding? If its for your ds baptism I think it's perfect.

Pretty dresss, but l wouldnt wear the dress to a wedding due to the colour being too similar to a wedding dress.
