You can take paracetamol not much else though. I used to inhale eucalyptus oil in hot water to relieve sinuses as well as Fess saline spray.

A good pharmacist can advise you what is safe if you let them know what stage of your pregnancy you are in. It really sucks getting sick when pregnant 😒

Just try to rest up and keep up your fluids.

I would ask my doctor (preferably your OB if you have one) as I have had different chemists tell me certain things were okay in pregnancy, and then a different one say they're not safe. Several times. I think sometimes they either don't care, or don't know and just try to blunder through. Your doctor will however be able to help you with what is actually safe.

I had a cold two weeks ago. Dr said only thing I could take was paracetamol and saline nose spray. As PP said, lots of fluid and rest. Vicks on the chest is helpful too if you find it hard to breath

I have had 2 colds during my pregnancy. Other than FESS saline nose spray and panadol I dosed up on hot lemon and honey drinks. I also took high strength vitamin c 3 times a day! After getting sick the first time I started taking the vaalia probiotic drinks daily and found that it shortened the length of my cold the second time drastically as they had been boosting my immunity. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I'm lucky because I'm not a big medicine taker anyway but someone was telling me the other day that airwaves saved their life during pregnancy colds, tehe.

Turns out I have bronchitis. Got a puffer and antibiotics (category a) which means the safest for pregnancy.

Sounds like you have this sorted, but I took Lemsip for mine earlier this year. It says on the packet that it's safe and I confirmed that through Mothersafe.
