Default ligament pain at 34 weeks.

I've had a sharp pain what feels like to be on my cervix for the past week now. I phoned the hospital and they said it could be ligament pain, the uterus is stretching. Has anyone else had this problem? Or was told something different about the sharp pain? I feel as a mother that it is not ligament pain.

    ..so confused.

I'm almost 38 weeks and I think I've had the same pain. It's really hard to describe. It's sort of like what period pain feels like but not a cramp, more like an ache where I assume the cervix is.. My guess is it's the cervix effacing but I'm not sure! Good to hear others answers

I felt the same and assumed it was just more ligament pain but if you feel it's more than that I would definitely insist to get checked out!

I was told the same in my 2nd preg. It was so painful! Felt like bub was kicking my cervix. Certainly didn't feel like anything ligament related... But all went well. Pains hung around until delivery though . Hope yours doesn't!
