    Chicken wings, spare ribs, grilled veg and holumi, stuffed squid, whole fish, opputunities are endless really. Pasta bake, exotic salads over the old tossed salad and potato salad and boring old coleslaw.

    Corn on the cob, remove husk.

    Lay out a sheet of foil for each cob, big enough to wrap around and enclose cob nicely. Add a dolop of butter, salt, pepper and any other flavours you like (We like sweet chili sauce), roll cob up in foil and seal ends. Cook on BBQ- so yummy

    Default yummy side dishes to go with a bbq?

    My DH loves BBQing spicy sausage or kranksy, cutting it up into small bite size pieces and squeezing lemon juice over it. Everyone just picks at them while waiting for the main meat to cook. Very moreish!

    Favourite salad is one my cousin makes in summer;

    Watermelon
    Fresh Coriander (loads of it)
    Tomato
    Red capsicum

    Dressed with olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper.

    So refreshing!
