Have you read the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich? Funny/crime books. Easy to read but very entertaining.

One Day by David Nicholls - a couple meet in university, don't end up together and the book visits their lives for 20 years.

Getting Rid of Matthew by Jane Fallon. She has a few good books. This one is about a lady who has an affair but then decides she doesn't want the guy once he moves in.

    Atonement by Ian McEwan.

All That I Am by Anna Funder. I went to a meet the author a few weeks back. It's about when Hitler comes to power and the secrecy surrounding smuggling people out and the relationships that evolve. It's based on true facts and people but has been turned into a fiction book. It's awesome!

I also love John Grisham books...
