    Default Wanting to donate EBM

    Hi everyone.

I currently have 6.5L of EBM in my chest freezer. I BF for 3 months and expressed during that time. We discovered after this time bubs can't tolerate the gluten coming through my milk. I have kept the milk "just in case" he changes, but it isn't happending. Is a milk bank the only option? I would hate to bin it, l worked so bloody hard for it. But my bubs hates it...but l know a bubs out there would appreciate it. It was expressed during 1/11/2011 - 15/1/2012 so l know l only have 12 months max for this milk to be used.

I have no advice sorry but I was told that milk banks only except fresh milk not frozen. I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong.

I hope there is someone out there who you can donate it to.

Where are you located? I am in Brissie looking to get my hands on some if I can.

Have you had your milk screened?

definitely look up human milk for human babies.

some people will ask for evidence of blood tests, others will be happy to just chat to you and see if they are happy to receive your milk.
