Default Naturopath and success with conceiving naturally

Anyone had success naturally conceiving and seeing a naturopath?
Last year I had 10 weeks of acupuncture with no success and now I'm looking into seeing a naturopath.
I'm in Melbourne and ive booked in to seeing Anne Digby apparently she works along side fertility specialists for ivf, but I'm hoping there are success of natural conception.

    Thanks for reading

First of all, I've heard great things about Anne Digby. The only reason I didn't go to her was because my aunt is a naturopath and could help me out for free. I had great results! Short background: post-pill ammenohrea (sp), suspected PCOS, only 2 periods in 9 months. I got a period a week after starting herbs (liquid form and a mixture of different things). That was possibly not related to herbs because it was so quick though. I took those for two months, then started just taking Vitex 1000mg and got my BFP a month later. It didn't regulate my periods, but I believe it definitely helped me ovulate. We were lucky enough to catch the egg the first time!!! I highly recommend giving it a try. Keep in mind though, that you're not supposed to take vitex in pregnancy. Im caught in a bit of a catch-22. Voted may harm baby (no studies confirm this), but stopping results in a drop in progesterone that seems to commonly end in miscarriage. Im going to continue taking them until 10 weeks and wean off them. Best of luck with your journey and I hope that naturopathy assists you.

Thanks quietlyandhopeful yay on ur bfp!!!
I'm really hoping I get great results like you with the naturopath. Even if it's to get my cycles 'normal' with no spotting or even to feel healthier within myself will be a bonus

Oh yes my mum tried for a year with 6 months of clomid.

She went to a naturopath and got pregnant on her 3rd cycle. (the naturopath wanted her to wait 3 months to detox her liver from the clomid).

    Goodluck !!

Default Naturopath and success with conceiving naturally

I don't have any advice on conceiving, but I have a family member who had cancer and was seeing a naturopath and started on a 100% organic diet, and although her chances were not fabulous, she is cancer free now and doing great I think we eat soooo many preservatives, sugar, salt, fatty diets which are not what the body is designed to survive on. I'm not a preacher (my diet is terrible) but I just know I have heard a lot wonder stories about organic diets, could be worth looking into. I'm sure I've heard on tv and the Internet it can be helpful for fertility too. Good luck!

My grandmother is a now retired naturopath (was very well known for her success with infertility). Her success rate was higher than ivf. I don't won't to go mentioning her name on the forum but if you would like to know more info please feel free to pm me and I can let you know who she is.

Thankyou ladies soo much for the information
I had my first consult on Saturday and she's put me on some tabs. She wants to see me in 6 weeks. She's also treating me for another ailment I have aswell, will be interesting to see how I go.
I also have a referral for my dh to have his swimmers tested, seeing he's put it off for so long he's finally willing to do it now.
We are also changing our eating habits to a more healthier lifestyle.
