Default What makeup do you use?

I use Chanel foundation, and mac powder. I use foundation rarely though one bottle probably last me 2 years! Powder I wear whenever I go out. Mac's studio fix has great coverage and long lasting and not that expensive

I swear by Estee Lauder Double Wear.

I wore Napoleon for years and thought it was the best...then tried EL and never went back. It's excellent.

    I use all Clinique products!

Just do what you did and try different ones at testings - you will find what suits you!

What works for one isn't always good for others - depends on your skin type, colour etc etc

This is me exactly. Can't go past the Estée Lauder.

For a good tinted moisturizer I use Laura Mercier pretty $$$ but the best one I've tried.

I have worn EL double wear for a couple of years now! I team it with the Dior pressed powder and my face is absolutely flawless and lasts all day!

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to reply. It looks like there are a couple of clear winners here, but I will go to the respective counters, get them applied, wear them for a day and see how we go. I don't really mind spending the money if it is good, makes me feel and look good, rather that a cheaper product that doesn't. I asked a work college what she wears and she said it was Mac. Problem is, until I try it and get the correct colours etc, I can't buy it on line and I have to travel quite a distance to try it.... But I think I will just to satisfy myself that I have tried everything! Thanks again, Di
