Default Strengthening pelvic floor after pneumonia

Hi ladies, I have recently had pneumonia which involved lots of coughing. My pelvic floor feels weaker and I even leak a bit if I cough with a full bladder, which did not happen before the pneumonia.

I guess I need to do lots of pelvic floor exercises. Has anyone had the same issue and was pelvic floor exercises the answer? How many did you have to do per day?

I am contemplating seeing a physio - do you think that would be worthwhile? Thanks in advance
