I thought it tasted fine which was a pleasant surprise. But oh boy did it make me sick 45 minutes later. Cold sweats, dizzy, vomiting, headache. Urggghhh. Think next time I would rather just be given the GD diagnosis without the test.

    I didn't like it, didn't dislike it.
It tasted to me like a not-so-tasty lemonade. It was fine to drink, but I wouldn't choose to drink something the same if i had other options.

I had to do the 2 hr test so a big serve had I, also. First sip wasn't too bad. Second sip, erk. Third sip...nurse tells me stop sipping, you've gotta get it down in 5mins or do it all again next week. It did taste pretty full on, but the worst of it was the fact that I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum (extreme morning sickness), and anything made me ill the whole pg. So it was hell trying to get that whole giant cup full down. It's way, way worse than straight cordial. Straight cordial has nothing on that! It's like a kilo of sugar boiled down to each teaspoon. I should imagine it would trigger a diabetic reaction in just about everyone!

I liked it to! It reminded me of flat lemonade which is what I sip if I've ever had a gastro bug, oh and MS it did make me feel woosey later but the Sullivan Nicholades lady let me lay down in the spare room

Not quite THAT bad, just double the concentration of a regular soft drink. I took a photo of the label for prosperity. There is 72g sugar in 300ml. To put it in perspective there is roughly the same amount in a 600ml bottle of Solo lemonade. :-)

    Yes. This.
I'm refusing it this pregnancy. I've never had GD and don't think I ever will.
    Controversial!!!
