The whole purpose of the "Find me a Fanny" thing was to get women back in the kitchen, because apparently he decided that British women were terrible cooks, and that they should be awesome cooks again because he was sick of seeing men being all the top chefs.
I get what he was aiming for, to have more women injected into the male dominated restaurant chef scene. Instead, it came off as him seemingly telling women to get back into the kitchen because that's their natural place.
It was frustrating because coming from anyone else with a bit of tact, it would have been a great idea and a step forward in the industry for women. But because it was him pushing it and the way he did it, it felt like a step back into being chained to the stove to feed our husbands and children and gosh DARN it we should be happy with that!
I really dislike the man. You'd never guess, huh *chuckle*.
I hope you people aren't referring to one of my next husbands, gary meaghan, as a walrus? I'm disgusted.
