    Default Post natal fitness/exercise/classes

    Hi
Im wondering if anyone knows of or can recommend some post natal fitness classes or groups of any kind in Adelaide , preferably northern suburbs or at least somewhere within 20 mins of northern suburbs ? Most i have found are in the city or eastern suburbs and would prefer not to go that far.

Or alternatively is there any others in northern suburbs of adelaide who are wanting to do some post natal exercise who might be interested in forming an informal group to get together and find others ? Anyone know a bit about what exercises are best etc?

    Thanks for your help

Hi Darl, I am in the same boat as you trying to get in to an exercise class or aqua aerobics I am 10 weeks pregnant and would love some company in doing a class if it happens that we are in the same area.

I know there is a aqua aerobics place at Ingle Farm if that is close to you?

Look forward to hearing from you

The place is called Funlife fitness at ingle farm, not sure if they have crèche facilities but give them a call.
The first class is complimentary and there after you can either buy a pass of ten for $99. Nothing to loose if you don't like it.

They have classes tues at 6&6:30 Thursday's at 6 and sat morning at 9:30.

I also enquires about pregancy yoga and there is a place at golden grove that does it, haven't looked more into it but if your interested can find out more details.

Hope this helps, let me know if your interested in doing any of the classes with me

    Default Hi mylittlesurprise

Hi mylittlesurprise, Ru pregnant or just had bub? Im planning to do post natal stuff (although gave birth 3 mnths ago and still haven't got around to it lol. slack hehe)
anyway when i get the guts to go (Im a scaredy cat :-) ) The Lodge gym in Brahma lodgedoheaps of classes that r suitable for post natal and theyre really helpful in guiding what classes and how often to be doing them etc and when to do more or whatever . plus they do 7 day free trial passes and their gym memberships are more flexible than normal gyms which better for me coz Im not great at sticking to exsrcise schedules lol.
this is the info i got from them :-
    1. "On our timetable we have a variety classes that would suit your needs. Rockhard (the name sounds a bit daunting but it’s actually a low impact core class), Body Balance and Yoga would be ideal for you. The main thing is to let your instructor know before the class begins that you are returning to exercise after having a baby. Check at our website at www.lodgefitnesscentre.com.au to check out our class timetable. In terms of Personal Training, Carma would be great for you to talk with and get trained by and what is great about that is she also runs the Rockhard class so she would be able to take really good care of you. You could even start off in Rockhard and then talk to Carma regarding Personal Training. Hope that helps. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me."
    2. "We have upfront membership options:
    3 months - $255
    6 months - $455
    12 months - $680
    Or we have weekly memberships:
Value Plus - $16 per weekly Direct Debit with a minimum term of 12 months
6 months - $19 per weekly Direct Debit with a minimum term of 6 months
Flexi - $22 per weekly Direct Debit no contract with a $60 admin
All new memberships have a $40 “getting started” admin fee when you join with the exception of the Flexi membership which has a $60 admin."
