Default Did my 1hr Glucose Tolerance Test..

..a couple hours ago, and I've been feeling nauseous since then. With a mild headache. Does that mean I failed?

No it dosn't mean you've failed the GTT. Some people just feel a bit yuck and funny after the test - it is no indication at all that you have GD.

No it's very common to feel like that after the gct or gtt.

Try having something light to eat and have a lay down if you can.

    Hope you're feeling better soon.

Nope as pp's have said it does not necessarily mean you've failed.

I failed it in my ds's pregnancy and passed it in my dd's pregnancy. Both times it gave me a headache and nausea.

I did not have GD in either pregnancy.

    No.
The drink is just very sweet and makes some people feel sick - i always feel very gross afterwards but have never had GD.

I felt like that after my 1hr test.
I marginally failed and had to do a 2hr one which I passed clearly

Don't stress and keep resting! That stuff is horrid lol!

I've got to do mine this week and I'm going for a low GI diet before hand. Last time I had to have the 2-3hr one but it was in hospital and they had a comfy chair. Easy-peasy.
