    Default At my wits end.

I have just shut myself out of my house where I can hear the toddlers bl00dy screaming. Not as loud anyway.
I'm sick of it. I've been trying since 6.30pm to get this child to BLOODY sleep. It's now 10.50pm. Im over it. I don't want to hear it.
The toddler is fed, clean, has water and milk, and is plenty warm.
It's like this child just wants to torture me to death.
Ughhhhhh. GO THE EFF TO SLEEP!!!!!!!! I'm sick of it!!!!!!!

Hugs, hope things get better for you soon. Kids don't do this to torture us, they are innocent little beings who just need our support and love. You're doing the right thing getting some space to calm down, I'm sure they'll be asleep soon. I always found that the harder I tried to get my son to sleep the more he refused as he was picking up on my stress.

if it makes you feel any better- we all have these days occasionally! i find removing myself from the situation when they are in a safe place helps me too. sometimes a minute or two is all you need to not go insane! hope your night gets better!

Like that sex in the city movie where Charlotte closes herself in the pantry, brings tears of empathy to my eyes every time- the pantry has often been my little sanctuary in such situations

Another hour and the toddler is still bloody screaming. I swear to god I a
SO FAR over it. I've tried EVERYTHING. Literally everything. Except a bath because there is no hot water. I'm done, I'm seriously left to let the child scream because there is nothing left. (P.S. I don't have attachment issues, due to a stalker who found me and sent abusive messages, I refuse to reveal the toddlers age or sex).

I have had stages like that with my little one.
You sound very stressed and your toddler is going to play on that. Maybe you could try just getting them up, put some music on and let them have a little play and you to be able to calm by having a break from the struggle and then start again in half an hour with putting them back to bed.
When my DD was at her worst stage we just gave up fighting with her and got her up or put a movie on for her until she fell asleep on the lounge. Once the was worked up preserving with the struggle just made us both more stressed.

FINALLY we're asleep! After I let bub just cry it out. I know it's awful but this one has the strongest most stubborn personality.

I also have my mum and brother who have been trying to sleep as well. It just sucks when the toddler refuses it. It's only rare now but my goodness when it happens... Thanks for the moral support though, I have missed having this on nights like these!!!
