Default Possible intolerance to bread additive?

DD who is 11 months screams for hours, gets severe cramps, wind and constipation after eating white or wholemeal bread. She is fine with sourdough, pasta, rusks and weet bix. Is there an additive in bread which anyone children are intolerant to? I thought it was gluten intolerance as it runs on my fathers side, however since trying pasta the past 2 weeks she has had no problems with it. We are waiting on our paed appointment next month, however are after some info in the meantime. Thanks!
