    Default Infected tragus

I think the issue was that the ball was too small and was being pulled into the hole and it's irritated it and got infected. I suspected it was too small. Will have to go buy a new one.

Do not whatever you do put metholated spirits anywhere near your piercing. Methylated spirits do kill the bacteria but they over dry your piercing, and destroy the healing flesh/tissue.

Salt water soaks are the way to go. Soak your piercing in rock salt water that is as warm as a drinkable cup of tea and as salty as your tears, twice a day until it heals. Make sure you do not over handle your piercing and when you do you hands need to be very clean.

    Good luck with healing.

It's feeling much better with a longer bar in. Gave it a good soak and wash with salt water.
The other ball was way too small.
