Default Re: which baby formula do you use?

When I had to start giving DD formula, I tried so many.

The only one that didn't upset her tummy and she actually liked was SMA. It's recommended from birth until whenevr you wean. I'm pretty sure it is cassien dominant not whey dominant.

I didn't have any issues switching to cow's milk either. As it wasn't very sweet at all.

I found S26 gold made her constipated (have heard this from a lot of other people also), she was always unsettled on Nan HA, and I didn't like the heinz or organic ones. They tasted funny (yes I also tried them lol)

Default which baby formula do you use?

I went through Nan Pro Gold, Nan HA, a lactose free one (just tried once and she just about smashed the bottle over my head in horror). I also ended up on Heinz Nurture. Best thing is it doesn't have that ****y little scoop like the Nan ones.

Tried S26 Gold, Karicare HA, S26 Lactose free, Goat milk formula, NAN Pro, Lactogen and NAN HA. NAN HA worked. They have recently changed the formula though.

Something to bear in mind is that changing formula usually upsets little people's tummies as the formulae often have different probiotics, etc, and the balance in their tummy changes. You can always wean between formulae - this worked a lot better for us than trying a cold turkey style switch between them... all we got then was tears, icky nappies and one hungry bub!

Heinz Nuture. Used since i stopped BF at 4 months. Never had a problem and it's reasonably priced too!
