Do you still need to apply through UAC for open uni's?
I've applied to do a bachelor of commerce next year as there is no accounting degree at the local uni anymore. I'm searching for other options if I don't get in.

I have no idea what UAC is, so my guess is no lol

I went straight to the OUA website and gave them a call. They went through everything signed me up to receive vet help or whatever is was ( that whole you don't pay for the degree til you earning over 51000 a yr) set up my profile for me and allocated me my first 4 units. The only thing i pay out of pocket for is text books.

The bachelor itself for accounting is through UniSA on OUA but the units can come from different universities. One of my units im currently doing is through UniSA and the other is through Griffith but still work towards the same degree iykwim

University's Admission Centre... it's the place you apply to get into UNI. I think QLD still use Qtac (if you are from there?)
Definitely going to suss OUA though. Sounds like it might be a decent back up plan.

I'm starting studying the bachelor of Social Work this year. I have no real idea what is involved or the areas I hope to work in. I know I want to help people as part of my career. I would love to be able to study forever though. I think I'd also study science/health if I could do both at the same time as Social work.
