Default Question for Hubbers who are studying online

What are you studying & what job do you hope to get at the end of it (except teaching & nursing - neither of those appeal to me).

I'm a SAHM and have no desire to return to my pre baby job / career, but I have zero idea about what I want to do. I know that teaching & nursing aren't my thing though. I have an undergraduate business degree, but I'm not a qualified "something" so don't have a trade to fall back on, as it were. Looking for inspiration!

Default Question for Hubbers who are studying online

I'm doing Certificate IV in Human Resources. Thinking of changing to a different course if I can though as this course is written really badly and I am struggling with it (as are many others doing the course).

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I just graduated from studying mental health. Now currently looking for work with case management, mental health support within the community etc.

Never ever thought I'd end up where I have. I just answered an ad in the paper because I was a bored SAHM, and now I have found a passion for those living with severe mental illness.

I hope you find what your looking for soon.

I'm doing a Bachelor of Arts, having that degree will enable me to (re) join the public service at a level 3 or 4. It's not really job specific but it leaves a lot of doors open across several agencies.

I'm planning to do cert 2 in animal studies, along with volunteer work at a shelter or kennel/cattery, wanting to get a job as an animal attendant or animal carer.

My previous job was public sector. Loved it but I don't want to go back!

This sounds great but I wouldn't be able to cope with the deaths. I'd want to adopt them all :-/

It is very confronting, I did volunteer work at the RSPCA years ago and seeing the cages of cats waiting to be put to sleep, was so sad, but I always made sure to give them a last bit of affection (for the ones that weren't feral anyway) that was the hardest. There was also a couple of times I'd come across a cat that had died in their cage overnight. Im leaning towards looking for work in a boarding place where I know they will be going back to loving homes.
