Default What did your colostrum look like?

I'm expressing some colostrum for my baby due soon - I have GD so am getting a small supply in case baby needs top-ups for low blood sugar.

The colostrum I'm getting is yellow-coloured, but thin and a bit watery. Does anyone know if this is normal? I thought it was supposed to be creamier than normal breastmilk? I BF my last bub but didn't express prior to birth.

I expressed before birth aswell, and your description sounds exactly right, looking like yellowish watered down milk.

Sounds normal to me... I antenatally expressed whilst in hospital for 2 weeks prior to my induction.
At first it was kind of clear and watery but as it built up it got a bit thicker and yellowy.
