    Hot black current juice.
You get a bottle of ribene black current syrup, pour about an inch into a cup and then add boiling water.
    Drink.
    The end.

Don't whisper. Whispering puts more strain on the vocal chords than trying to talk (even with the Darren Lockyer voice) does.

    Lots of hot drinks.

    Wait... unfortunately

Lemon and ginger tea, salt water gargles, lots of fluids and rest... Unfortunately the rest is the best!
