Default ED dr implied i caused my children's disabilities!

I really hope your boy is on the mend. I would not want to go back either unless it's critical. I think the doc was out of line. You must get so sick of nonsense uneducated comments. For that reason alone I would make a complaint. Imagine if they are asking all ASD kids that come if if the patents drunk. It was not part of the assessment and your answer would not change the treatment. She was just on her high house about her own beliefs.

Really hope your boy is doing better. My nephew is ASD and can just imagine how distressing the waiting room melt down was, big hugs

Sorry I didn't see the section, I thought you just wanted opinions. Clearly not. All I was saying was if its offended you then take it further. I'll leave this now as its not my section.

I would complain, I actually feel like complaining on your behalf! 😡

An ED Dr needs to appreciate that a parent that is in the ED with their child is in no state to have a thick skin.

Anyway as mentioned, discussing activities during a long ago pregnancy that may or may not have impacted on your DS in no way has any relevance to the issue you were there for!

    Unnecessary, insensitive, unprofessional!

Hope your DS is recovering and you have had better care since then. xox
