Alright ladies, I need a recommendation of a new book for the Trip to Adelaide..
Fifty shades of grey. The hype about it is waaaay OTT but it's an easy read.
Yeah sorry I am a non conformist.. I plan on avoiding it for years yet. I actually have a copy but don't want to read it.
I did the same with twilight but then I caved. Actually did the same with fifty shades but I like an easy read.
My boyfriend is trying to get me to read this really convoluted sci-fi fantasy series but I just can't concentrate on it, so fifty shades is good for me lol.
I've tried three times to read those books but the furtherest I've ever gotten was page 5!
Lol really? I probably would have been the same but I started reading it on a 4 hour train trip lol.
Yup. Which is disappointing cause I'm dying to make my own judgement on it. I've had a friend tell me that if I don't enjoy the books, there's something wrong with me, but another friend told me that she's read better stuff written by teenagers!
Yeah it's not very well written but that doesn't affect the story for me.
Plus 'romance' novels are seldom well written in my experience lol.
You must get past page five though. Make it a mission to at least finish the first chapter. I wanted to make my own mind up about it too so I know where you're coming from.
