Ok, I can't find the section to put this in so I'm hoping fellow fluffers are onlinr and able to give me some advice.

DD has banged her head. There's an egg (Not normally worrying as she does it all the time) . It also has little burst capillaries in that spot (never had this before). She banged it at about 8:30. So 45 mins ago.

We were at a friends house. Home now and sit her on the lounge with me for some cuddles and her milk.

She has fallen asleep lying on me on the lounge. Lights on, tv on, me on the phone to DP. She's been asleep now for 15 minutes.

She is not the child that does this. I don't even know when the last time she fell asleep in my arms was. She is a very bisy child and always trying to get out of sleep.

We had a pretty busy day, DD and I running around playing soccer in the AM. Then off to friends house who has a 2 yr old also. So has been running around all day without her sleep.

This is not unusual for her. (The running around all day and not having a day sleep). The strange thing is her falling asleep on me as I said before.

I'm worried about her having a bigger injury than I can see. Would you wake your child so you could call health direct or let her sleep and see how she goes?

If she is responsive I wouldn't stress too much!

Maybe speak to her and see if you can get a small reaction?

Flick a tiny bit of cold water, tickle foot, tickle nose.

If she responds she should be fine.

DS has had a few BIG falls and fallen asleep easily shortly after. My gp told me to do these things if I was worried

If you're still worried call 13health and get some more advice!

    Thanks girls.

Just got off the phone to health direct. Sat her up, tried to wake her up, nothing.

The guy went through all the questions and just as he said, I'm going to call you an ambulance, she woke up. Went through all the things to make sure she wasn't badly injuref and was responding normally. He was happy with it and has said to just monitor her and keep waking her hourly until midnight. So for a few hours.

I'm packing it. She went straight back to sleep with the lights on and everything. Hopefully I don't have to call an ambulance.

Will be waking her again at 1045 to check her again.

Does anyone know what happens with ambulance call outs with a 5 month old who also has to come? DP is fifo. He has to come with me as he is 100% boob fed and I don't have any EBM and he won't take a bottle anyway... would they let me take him in the ambulance in his capsule?

I'm sure they will let you take him with you. I went to a hubbers house when her son had to be taken in an ambulance so I could look after her eldest, and they let her take her baby in the ergo with her.
