    Default Paint...

Ok so if a tin of paint at a rental said on it -

    Walls
    Wet areas
    Ceilings

Would you think it was for the whole house including walls in living areas, hallways etc?

I would think so. We used different paint for walls, ceilings and doors/frames, but I guess they were all different colours.

You can get more mould resistant paint for bathrooms, but apparently normal paint will inhibit mould to some degree.

Yeh that's what I thought. DP doesn't think so though.

Probably not. I think ceiling paint and wall paint are totally different. Ceiling paint is a lot harder to clean and would look really strange on walls.

It's not, the colours are exactly the same. This house was built as a rental house so quality wouldnt hve been on the top of their list! It wouldv been built as cheap as possible. For example- walls mark very easily!! I hate it!!! I swear one way of doing it this way is a way they don't have to give ll Bond back and they can have another coat of paint in between tenants paid for by previous tenant.

Yes I'd assume all internal walls in the house, including the wet areas (bathrooms/toilets, kitchen, laundry) and the ceiling.
If you can visibly see they are all the same colour then obviously what's written is correct.

It says "walls," so I would assume so.

The additional "ceilings" and "wet areas," thing would just mean, to me, that this paint was also suitable for those areas... not that it was JUST suitable for those areas. I can't really see why it would be suitable for a bathroom and not for a living room... lol.
