Default I HATE having a messy house...

But I have NO energy to clean it.

Lying in bed next to ds while he sleeps and don't plan on moving until he wakes up.

5 weeks and I'm exhausted. Though I'm sure my low vitamin b12 levels have something to do with it.

    Me too

Last night I finally tackled the 6 baskets of washing that need to be folded and put away, granted dp started it before he left for work. I have no energy.

Oh, me too. My kitchen table is covered in clean washing that needs folding, kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it and the floors need doing. Stresses me out to the max but by the time I get home from work I only have enough energy to put my pjs on and flop onto the couch. I'm 12 weeks now and really hoping that my energy picks up so I can get it back up to scratch

Argh I hated that part of post birth! I'm a clean freak even still with 3 young kids!! My worst mistake was trying to keep it up in those first few months, relax , enjoy the time with a newborn , the house won't blow up if you leave it be :-)

yup, im hearing ya! I have wonderful intentions to do some housework, prepare dinner, put a start to the nursery but i still have bad days at 22 weeks where every cell in my body aches and i feel like im a walking hangover. This can last for days, then i'll come good but prefer to spend my energy on taking dd swimming and to her playdates rather than cleaning the house.
Give yourself a break while you can. Your body deserves it and you have the best excuse in the world as to why ur behind in the housework department. Anyone who judges a pregnant woman with other kids and the state of her house can go jump!
