This is so horrible . Wouldn't he have been required to have regular checkins with the police in Brisbane? How did he fall off the radar for long enough to get up here and find her? What blows my mind, though, is that there are people out there who have helped this "man" access more weapons and find the shelter! They had to have known that it would put lives at risk. I hope they at least feel bad enough to let the police know of what his plans are.

My heart goes out to Monique, and I hope that she is found safe quickly.

This was on facebook yesterday, posted by Australian missing persons register. They've also got photos of one of the guys who took her, plus pics of his tattoos and the car they were driving with QLD plates and plate number.

Absolutely shocking. I don't know how this wasn't all over the news all over Australia. The poor woman, staff and the all the women using that shelter any others across the nation who will undoubtedly start questioning how safe they really are at a shelter.

I hope she's ok, and I hope this doesn't discourage women from seeking help or going to a shelter

So the car has been found in Palmerston. More chances for her to have been seen, and more leads for the police. Hopefully they haven't swapped cars and taken her out bush. This has just been on my mind since it was released.

    This is my fear

NT Police have located the black Audi.

As part of the extensive investigation surrounding the abduction of Monique Edmondson, this vehicle of interest was recovered from an address in Palmerston and is currently at the Police forensic laboratories undergoing tests.

While this particular vehicle has been recovered, Police are continuing to ask the public for urgent assistance in locating Monique Edmondson and alleged offender, Joshua Walsh.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police immediately on 131 444.
