My mum and our closest friends know we're trying. My mum and my best friend are my rock every month when AF arrive. DH just doesn't get the emotion.

I'm sure all of our family are expecting we are trying, so there's not much pressure from anyone.

    Hi ladies!
I'd love to join! Great to find a thread where we are all trying to be first time mummies!
    A little about me -
    I'm 30, DH 31
We've been together for 11 years, married for 4.
    We live in Waterloo, Sydney.
We have been TTC since April 2012 and have had 1 MC.
We have told a few people we are TTC, but just to shut them up really!
So sick of the "when are you having kids?" questions!
We haven't told to many about our mc though.
I'm currently 11dpo so fingers crossed this is our month! If it is it will be an anniversary baby for us which will be so wonderful!
    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

we're keeping mum for now (pun intended ) , would like to make it a surprise, plus we've been getting enough pressure put on us by well meaning mates
Only one of my sisters, who I know won't blab!
Haven't discussed it with Mum at all, don't want her interfering at this stage! And like you, I wanted it to be a nice surprise for the family.

We have had a bit of pressure from DH's family...although I think they've given up on us since we've been married 7 years (and intentionally haven't ttc til now).

I think my mum has already decided that we have fertility problems cos it didn't happen straight away, so I think she'll still be surprised when it happens

Cheffry, we live close by! Let's have babies at the same time and have coffee together!

We've told: my best friend (currently pregnant), the ILs, and my aunt.

My parents wouldn't be too supportive sadly. ILs are totally amazing and don't ask us anything, they just listen when we choose to say something. My aunt was ttc for 2 years so she understands how emotionally draining it is.

when we decided to TTC, we weren't sure how our families would feel. i mean i knew they would be excited but because we are both female, i thought it may come as a shock to some (especially the in laws)... because it would obviously have been planned... so we told both families (then my mum blabbed to everyone!!! ) but we are so excited that we told a few close friends as well, and just recently told work due to needing random times off. we haven't told everyone though... just those closest to us.

i'm worried that if it doesn't happen quickly then everyone knows but generally a very open book kinda person, i don't care who knows my life... i find it healing to let people in on my roller coaster life.

    Hi, can I join in!?

We are ttc #1 too. Age is not on our side. I am 39 and DH is 43.

It took me too long to meet the right guy but I'm so happy now that I've definitely found him. We got married in April and have been trying since then.

Close friends of mine know...but that's it. Fortunately we're not being too hassled. Perhaps people think that at our age we're not interested.
