I'd just say hi, ask them a bit about them, what they're interested in, tell them a bit about me etc. Good way to see if there's any common ground. Then just normal conversation really

    You'll do great xx

Good luck and hope the crazies stay away!

I tried it last year and met a couple of guys, one was ok but not my type, the other seemed alright at first but wouldn't leave me alone after I told him I wasn't interested which was annoying. I think I'm too fussy for Internet dating lol, I don't often like guys in that way, guess you could say I don't fall in love easily!

Oh you laugh now, but when the world ends this year, imagine what a catch he will be with his earthships!

    Default Internet dating

I met DF online 2 years ago and now we are engaged an have a beautiful DS!

    My tips are:

    - read profiles.
If a guy tries to add you, this is where you normally can get your first read flag.

    - if a guy calls you sexy or mentions sex within the first 15 minutes...
    Delete him.

    - if you have an awkward silence and no one types for 5 minutes or you only get one word answers for every question, delete...
This usually means they are chatting to a few others too.

    - give people a go, but always trust your gut.
I chatted to one guy who was "nice" but my gut feelings was telling me not to go there. I was lonely, so I went there. He ended up stalking me for 2 months.

    Let conversations be free flowing.
I'd usually spark up a convo talking about something funny in their profile, just ask about them...

    Everyone loves talking about themselves.

When DF first added me I really didn't find him amazingly attractive...
But I gave him a go, as chatting never hurt, he thought I was a ***** for only giving one word answers but I just was really busy, so I just gave him my number. We meet up a week later an BAM. Love at first sight. He was sexy as hell too!

Yeah, I met my partner through RSVP about 5 years ago. I'm going to two friends weddings this year and they met through internet dating. Plus my cousin met her guy. So many people meet that way now!

I would suggest not mailing or messaging for too long, best to meet up for a wine or a coffee. I would never meet up over a meal. So many times I could tell in the first 5 minutes it wasn't going to happen and to drag it out over a meal would have been torturous.
Its good to do for a bit of fun and to feel like you're doing something about meeting someone. I did it for a few months then left it for a year then did it again and found my guy, must have seen 15 or so guys I met up with. I maybe dated a couple of them for a while. In the end I decided to relax the age restriction I had stipulated, my oh is 7 years younger! Also I just didn't bother going by the photos, I was only looking at profiles that made me laugh......and that cut it down massively.

    good luck!
