Default Are you a go into battle or hide under the doona person?

The other night when dh was away I had a guy in my yard at 11:30 at night. My beloved dog had him bailed up against the fence, which he managed to scale and flee.

So would you hide under the doona or go out and attack?

Geez that's scary .. Did you call the police??

I'd certainly send my spouse out first.. Or hope for the best that the dog's barking got rid of the offended.. But if all else failed I'd rather go down fighting then be attacked head on I guess.. I'd be hiding somewhere with some kind of weapon to defend myself and hope for the best.

    oh how scary for you

I'd be under the doona, hopefully with my phone and frantically dialing 000.

Oh far out i would definately be hiding under the doona with the kids in my room and the bedroom door locked LOL while phoning the police haha.

I think the only thing that would get me out of the house was if i could hear them hurting my dog that would get me out there quick smart and i would be freaking angry and they would be more scared of me LMAO

No, it wasn't worth it, it would take them atleast 30 mins to get here and he was long gone.

There was no point in calling dh, he was tucked up in bed in his hotel 5 hours away, it would have just worried him and he wouldn't have slept and he a long drive home the next day. I didn't ring him until 6 am. Mind you I didn't sleep either.

Hard to say unless you're faced with it. I'd definitely freak out seeing a guy in my yard at night! I'd probably call 000 and arm myself with a knife and lock myself in the house.. pretty scary to consider, especially if you were home alone with kids.
