Unhappy Well that was scary and embarrassing at the same time.....

So I was just up at the shopping centre getting a birthday present for my DP.

I was standing next to Mister Minit waiting for them to engrave one of the birthday presents, I start to feel a little strange and the next thing I know a lady is saying "are you okay??" from above me.
I came to and was on the floor with a big bump on the back of my head

I've only had gatorade and a yohgurt all day so I guess that's why.
It was so embarrassing that as soon as I came to, I mumbled to the lady "Im pregnant"

Everyone was very nice though.. Helped me to a seat and the engraver lady took my money for the engraving and got me a bottle of water with the change. She even reduced the price of the engraving Lol.

I then was too scared to drive home (by myself and DP is at work) so I waited 40 mins in the shade drinking water and ate something.. then made it home safely.

    Pretty scary experience haha.

    Well that was my day

Hugs!!! How pregnant are you? It's very common to faint. It might be worth getting your iron levels checked though! Xxx

    Oh you poor thing!

I did the same at macdonalds with DS in my arms lol!

I would definitely suggest seeing your doctor just to be on the safe side

Hope you are feeling better soon!

I'm 13 weeks and at my last blood test everything seemed fine. I hadn't eaten much before it happened, and it's fairly hot so I think that's why.
Plus there was the crazy noise from the engraver, I think everything just got too much!

I should be okay although I will mention it at my next visit. If it happens again I'll be sure to go straight to the doctors..

The main thing I'm worried about is this bloody bump on the back of my head! It hurts and I have a headache. Waaah

Oh no I hope you're feeling ok now!

Don't worry I think it's pretty common, I fainted for the first time ever when I was pregnant in a baby shop and woke to a really worried sales assistant standing over me. Really embarrassing! Take it easy, rest and drink lots of fluids!!

Eeek, how scary. Blacking out is a horrible feeling isn't it? No need to feel embarrassed
Hope you're feeling better and as others have said, see your doctor just to be safe. I remember everything going black before I staggered outside threw up whilst lining up at the bank when I was pregnant!
Try and take it easy and stay off your feet for a while.

    Hope you are feeling better.

Same thing happened to me about 10 weeks pregnant with dd1. Felt a bit funny so started walking to the toilet and fainted while walking and walked into a desk before ending up on the floor. It was so embarrassing. Had big bruises on my thighs for days.
