    Default Charlie for a girl??

Just wondering what others think of Charlie for a girl?

I quite like it (DH loves it), but would perhaps prefer it as a nickname. The only names I can think of that can be shortened to Charlie are Charlotte and Charlize - other suggestions would be appreciated!!

    Default Charlie for a girl??

I loooooove the name Charlotte. But could not use it for the fact she would get Charlie for short (which I also love) but we have a dog named Charlie hahahaha that would get confusing.

I've only ever known Charlotte or Charlize to be shortened to Charlie, but you could use Charlene or Charelle.

Love charlotte, cant stand charlie as to me it is still a boys name and the popularity of using it for a girl at the moment is awful.

I think it's fine stand alone. Makes me want to use the middle as well though! Like to call a little girl "Charlie Ann" or "Charlie Belle". So cute!
I think a feminine middle name would work best

    Default Charlie for a girl??

I would have liked to have used Charlotte with Charlie as a nn but we have a Ch.... surname so sounded a bit funny.

I do know 3 different little girls named Charlie, Charlee and Charley though so was a little too popular for us too.
