    Default Bleeding after sex

Last night I started bleeding after having sex. When I went to the toilet afterwards (sorry, TMI), everything that usually comes out afterwards had blood mixed through it. I got up once during the night and there was a little bit more, and thismorning when I wiped it was just a tiny bit pink tinged (hardly noticeable)

Should I be worried? Should we stop having sex? And should I see my GP about this?

    ETA: I'm 6 weeks, 6 days pregnant

    Default Bleeding after sex

When I had my spotting earlier this week the first thing my midwife asked me was if we had sex as it can be the cause of some bleeding. I think as long as it is getting lighter and not heavier than its fine... Maybe try and be a bit more gentle during sex..

Same thing was happening to me while I was on depo. I assumed it was a tiny breakthrough bleed but after several occurrences I went to my Dr who did an internal and I had 2 small (benign) cysts on my cervix. He advised it was a not-so common side effect to long term hormone based bc, particularly progesterone only bc.

    Default Bleeding after sex

I had this a while ago and turned out I had a pulp on my cervix that every now and then would get disturbed after dtd. A trip to the doc then a gyno had me in for day surgery to remove it.

Though this is just what happened to me and I only went after the bleeding was happening say every second time we dtd. It wasn't alot of blood but enough to make me a little worried. I reckon if it happens alot take yourself off to the doc

Thanks for the replies. I neglected to add that I'm 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so that's why I'm quite worried

As long as it's not getting heavier and no cramps etc it should be fine. That would happen to me when we dtd in the first trimester. In the first weeks your cervix is very sensitive and it's common for this to happen.

If you're really worried, have a chat to your gp.
