Re-locating to Adelaide!

Subbing... Looking to relocate to adelaide as well... DDs dad lives NE (in a snobby suburb - yuck!) so we will likely move north of the city to make school between the two houses easy for DD... As far as i can tell the northern suburbs are quite fine... They are just more family orientated rather than cosmopolitan lifestyle orientated - which suits us just fine!

..... Or we may move to west beach or henley beach... My gosh i miss the ocean!!

Henley is nice -- if I was choosing between that or north I'd go henley for sure!!

Hi ladies!

Well the move went well and we are settled in our new home! We ended up renting a place in Northgate. At the time that we were looking, houses that we were after (had to have 2 car lock up garage/carport, and a few other things), were hard to come by so when we looked through the house at Northgate, it was huge and had all we were after so we settled on it.

The area is good, shops and daycare closeby and it's fairly quiet. Have found a playgroup at Modbury that we like.

It's terribly hard to be living so far away from all our family and friends though, we are feeling a bit lonely. If anyone wants to get together with myself and my 2 3/4 year old daughter, feel free to message me. We are happy to meet anywhere, doesn't have to be close to our neighbourhood, as we enjoy exploring all areas of Adelaide!
