    Default When to have scan

    Saw midwife yesterday.
According to my lmp Im 11 weeks pregnant but according to dating scan I'm only 10.
She said I should go for my ultrasound at 12 weeks.
I need to go on a Saturday do husband can come.
This means I'll be 12.5 weeks when I go ( going by dating scan) but 13.5 ( by lmp) I'm thinking about moving it a week earlier but is 11.5 weeks too early? She recommended I go in 6th September but this would make it the 1st. She said if you go too early sometimes the tail bone wouldn't have formed.

I personally would be inclined to stick with the dating scan result and wait till they told you to.

I know it sucks early on, "losing" that week. I had the exact same thing this pregnancy! It's frustrating!!

I'd be going by the date the midwife told you as that is the date they will go by for your pregnancy unless there are further discrepancies with dates due to scans or measurements.

My OB and the scan guy we know personally both said NT should happen between 12w5d - 13w5d to ensure best development.

I would go with 12 + 3. I got my NT scan with DS done at 11 + 6 and the sonographer cracked it abit and told me that the receptionist shouldn't have booked me in so early.

The NT scan can be performed between 11 weeks 3 days and 13 weeks 6 days. If you go too early (by measurement), you may have to go back.

i would book in for the 12 week 3 days date.

    Default When to have scan

I have my NT scan tomorrow, I will be 13 weeks exactly according to the early US date.

When I was booking it, they said they usually do it between 12.5 weeks and 13.5 weeks to ensure everything has had enough time to properly develop.
