    Default Kindle touch wifi

I'm think of getting one for 'free' with my visa sphere points. I'm just not sure exactly how they work (how to buy books).
Can someone please explain to me? Thanks.

    Default Kindle touch wifi

It uses 3G just like a mobile phone but as you can only connect to Amazon from it you don't get charged.

If you want to purchase from other sites you just need to do it on your computer and then connect the kindle via USB to load onto the device.

I have one and love it!

Get it, you won't regret it!

    Default Kindle touch wifi

I have a kobo (LOVE it) I'm sure it would be the same method.

I use wifi or buy the books on my laptop then transfer them over to my kobo.

I have an older style keyboard kindle with 3G. I can log into my amazon account anywhere and buy books. I then turn on 3G and it downloads the books to the kindle automatically. I can also access the internet from the kindle using 3G to buy books, but it's a bit fiddly.
Check out amazons website, they have a kindle discussion forum that is great.

You dont need wifi if you have a computer just means you will plug it in to download rather than doibg it wirelessly.
